Oakwood Creative Care’s Dementia Hub is thrilled to announce a new partnership with the Area Agency on Aging, offering in-office hours every third Thursday of the month from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM! This exciting development will provide another unique and invaluable opportunity for older adults, care partners, and families of loved ones living with dementia to connect with a fellow nonprofit organization that is committed to enhancing the lives of Arizona’s aging population.

Area Agency on Aging: Connecting Older Adults to Valuable Community Resources

The Dementia Hub, already known for its compassionate, wrap-around, and innovative approach to enhancing dementia care, is now extending its reach by working alongside the Area Agency on Aging to provide even more resources, services, and connections to families impacted by memory loss and other cognitive challenges. Whether you’re looking for guidance, support, or creative programs that promote well-being, these in-office hours* offer precious time to explore all that Oakwood Creative Care and the Area Agency on Aging have to offer.

From educational resources to personalized care plans, we aim to continue empowering caregivers and improve the quality of life for those living with dementia. By coming together with the Area Agency on Aging, the East Valley now has a home for Arizona residents to connect with and access programs that support the diverse needs of our aging community.

We're a nonprofit organization based in Mesa, Arizona with three senior day club locations (and a fourth on the way) which serve older adults with Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's, and various other physical or cognitive challenges. Life does not end with a diagnosis. Our members continue to learn new skills, enjoy new discoveries, make friends, laugh, and live a joy-filled life. Our team of dementia experts lead support groups, events, classes, and private sessions with caregivers and families, guiding them on the best methods to care for their loved ones while also caring for themselves.
