In partnership with Dementia Friendly Mesa, Oakwood Creative Care is pleased to announce the launch of the Mesa Memory Cafe. This free program will be held twice a month on the second and fourth Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Join us for our first Memory Cafe on Wednesday, July 13th, at the Red Mountain Multigenerational Center (7550 E. Adobe St. Mesa, AZ 85201).

Memory Cafe: Where Support & Engagement Meet

The Memory Cafe is a collective effort brought to the community through a partnership with the Mesa Chamber of Commerce and the Dementia Friendly Task Force. The Task Force is made up of community members interested in expanding access to support and services for those in Mesa and the surrounding community who are caring for someone with dementia or are living with dementia themselves.  

All family caregivers and persons living with dementia are invited to join us at the Mesa Memory Cafe to experience a fun morning all about socializing and finding support. Come and enjoy a cup of coffee and delicious pastries while you connect with new friends, community experts, and professionals who share in your journey. Then, after some much-needed coffee talk, join us for an hour for a family caregiver support group and a dementia-friendly engagement class.

Our Day Clubs provide an enriching space where members engage their minds and bodies, find joy, and build meaningful friendships—while giving their family caregivers the time and flexibility to take care of personal needs.. Beyond our clubs, we foster a vibrant, supportive community through caregiver education, support groups, memory cafés, occupational therapy, GUIDE, and more.
